House from Oltenia

A low house with a clay tiled roof anchors the view in House from Oltenia, where Theodor Pallady turns a village facade in southern Romania into quiet architecture of light. Ochre plaster warms to rose where sunlight strikes, terracotta tiles run in uneven courses, and shade gathers in deep umber beneath the eaves. A vine and low wooden fence cross the foreground in loose, confident strokes of green and violet. Suited to an entryway, study, or reading nook, it brings the warmth of a sunlit courtyard into rooms furnished with linen, aged wood, and unglazed pottery.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes. It arrives stretched over a solid wood frame, ready to hang, with the hanging hardware included.

Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Each piece is made to order and shipped free with tracking, usually within a couple of weeks depending on your location. See our shipping policy for details.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
