Snow summits catch the first light of dawn in Himalayas. Morning, a Nicholas Roerich vision of the high ranges at daybreak. Cold ridgelines glow against a sky just beginning to warm. Loose, tempera-like strokes build the peaks in layer after layer of blue, from deep cobalt shadow to pale lilac ice where sun touches the crest.
