Great Wall of China

The Great Wall climbs and falls across a jade-green range, its watchtowers reduced by Nicholas Roerich to calm blocks of color under a vast, pale sky. Roerich paints the ancient fortification in flat, tempera-like planes: ochre ramps, blue shadowed slopes, a haze of rose light gathering at the horizon. Small cypress-like trees punctuate the foreground. Every ridge reads as contour and silence, the symbolism of his Central Asian journeys distilled into geometry. Suited to a study, hallway, or reading room where a quiet horizon rewards long looking.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.
