Grand Vista over a Coastal Landscape

Cliffs roll toward a broad bay in this Nicholas Roerich coastal landscape, the horizon set high so water and sky share the frame. The grand vista over a coastal landscape rewards slow looking. Cool blues and grey-greens wash the sea while pale light breaks along the headland. Flat planes of pigment, laid with the restraint typical of Roerich, give the shoreline a carved, almost geological calm. Thin washes thin out toward the horizon; brushwork tightens on the rocks. It belongs in a study or hallway where morning light meets cool color, drawing the eye outward the way a window over water would.

Frequently asked

Yes. It arrives stretched over a solid wood frame, ready to hang, with the hanging hardware included.

Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
