Glassmakers Street in Vilno

A crooked lane presses between leaning facades in Glassmakers street in Vilno, the kind of narrowing medieval street Mstislav Dobuzhinsky drew with such affectionate unease. Pen line does the heavy lifting here: jittery hatching builds the cobblestones, the squat chimneys, the little windows stacked unevenly under steep roofs.
