Gathering Storm, High Seas

Heavy cloud banks press down on open water in Gathering Storm, High Seas, a marine view from American impressionist Guy Rose. Grey-green swells roll in long, deliberate lines toward the viewer, each crest catching a thin seam of cold light before it breaks.
