Gathering Clouds

Clouds pile in pewter tiers across the upper half of Gathering Clouds, Benjamin Brown giving the storm itself the lead role while a narrow band of sunlit ground waits below. Slate and oyster grays sink to violet where the masses hang lowest, each cumulus built from broad, loaded brushstrokes that keep their ridges. Below, dry grass in ochre and olive bends under a wind you can almost hear, and a pale break of light opens at the horizon. Hang it in a study, a reading nook, or an entryway that wants the charged quiet of the hour before rain. The cool palette settles easily beside warm wood and linen.

A stretched canvas: the image is printed on a cotton-polyester weave (300–350 gsm) and wrapped over FSC-certified wood stretcher bars. A hanging kit is included, so no frame or extra hardware is needed.

Dust with a soft, dry cloth only — avoid water or cleaning products on the canvas face — and keep it out of direct sunlight and away from radiators.

As a guide, a piece hung above furniture should span roughly two-thirds of that furniture width. If you are between two sizes, the larger option almost always reads better on the wall than expected.

Every piece is made to order, then shipped free with tracking. US and Europe/UK orders typically arrive in 4–9 business days; Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and the UAE in 7–16 business days. A tracking link is emailed as soon as it ships. Full details are on our shipping policy.

Orders within the US, UK and EU are domestic and do not incur customs fees. Orders to our extended network (Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, UAE) may be subject to import duties or VAT set by your local customs authority — these are not collected by us.

Because every piece is produced specifically for your order, we are unable to accept returns for a change of mind, wrong size selection, or buyer remorse once production has started.
