Fuji near Tamaho

Fuji rises alone above the rooftops near Tamaho, its snowcap rendered in unprinted paper against deep green skies. Shotei Takahashi built the mountain from layered washes of olive and viridian, the cone drawn with a single confident contour line. Sky bands stack in graded greens, each one slightly darker than the last. Beneath, dark pines and low village roofs anchor the foreground, their inked texture dense against the quiet slope. The green variant shifts the mood from dawn cool to something more sheltered, almost mossy. It belongs in a reading nook or a narrow hallway where the vertical calm of the mountain can hold the wall.
