From the Window

A view over rooftops seen through a window frame, painted by the Bulgarian artist Haralampi Tachev. Chimneys, tiled slopes and distant hills open outward, the frame itself becoming the threshold between interior quiet and the living street below. Warm ochre and terracotta washes sit against soft greys, the watercolor pigment pooling where tile meets tile. Thin linework describes each rooftop ridge with a draftsman hand, while broad translucent washes carry the sky. The composition pulls the eye from the dark window edge into sunlit distance. Well suited to a study, reading nook or hallway where a calm urban view rewards a second glance.
