Fish

One slim ovoid, tapered to a needle at each end, balancing on the edge of motion. Constantin Brâncuși called it Fish and stripped the animal down to a single curve. Bronze burnished to a mirror carries whatever passes: ceiling, window frame, the viewer moving past. No scale, no fin, no eye survives the file. Only the glide remains, lifted on a narrow pedestal so the silhouette reads clean against open air. It suits a hallway with hard overhead light or a study shelf where reflections can travel, keeping the metal restless all day.
