Fák

Trees rise in ranked silhouettes across the sheet, trunk after trunk, their crowns pressed close like heads in conversation. Fák shows Scheiber Hugó building a forest out of rhythm rather than detail. The palette runs through moss green, ochre and a bruised blue-violet that settles in the shadows between the trunks. Branches curve with the confidence of brushwork, some stems sketched thin and quick while heavier forms anchor the foreground. Light filters from behind the canopy, so every leaf edge carries a pale rim against the darker depth of the grove.
