Low weather builds over darkening water in Evening clouds on the sea, a marine subject by Max Pietschmann in which the last daylight is already going out of the sky. Painted in broad, loaded strokes, the swell carries slate and deep green, while rose and amber light catches the bellies of the heavy banks above. The horizon sits low, leaving one narrow lane where the fading sun still burns. No boat, no shore, no land at all. Yes. It ships fully assembled in an oak or ash wood frame with shatterproof plexiglass glazing, and hanging hardware already fitted to the back.

Clean the glazing with a soft, lint-free cloth; apply any cleaner to the cloth, never directly to the piece.

As a guide, a piece hung above furniture should span roughly two-thirds of that furniture width. If you are between two sizes, the larger option almost always reads better on the wall than expected.
