Early Spring

Meltwater runs bright between fields of last winter snow, and slender birches lift bare crowns into a pale sky. Early Spring by Pyotr Konchalovsky catches that first thaw. Oil paint sits thick on the surface, dragged in short strokes that follow the slope of the ground.
