Composition

Red wedges lean into blue, a bar of yellow runs beneath, and thin black lines keep every shape in check. That is all Composition by Bart van der Leck needs. The color lies flat, no brushwork breaking the surface, each plane cut to a hard edge like paper laid on white. Forms interlock like his stained glass and textile designs, half figure, half machine, the geometry of De Stijl in the years before the grid took over. Give it a plain wall in a stairwell, dining room, or office reception, somewhere the primary color can carry the whole room without help.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes. It ships fully framed and assembled, with the hanging hardware already fitted to the back.

Wipe the front gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Each piece is made to order and shipped free with tracking, usually within a couple of weeks depending on your location. See our shipping policy for details.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
