Cişmeaua de pe strada Spătarului

A fountain spills at the corner of Strada Spătarului, painted by Theodor Pallady in Cişmeaua de pe strada Spătarului. Cobblestones carry the light. Water runs thin and silver over worn stone. Pallady builds the street in short, stacked strokes: grey ochre cobbles, a mossy basin rim, whitewashed walls gone the colour of unripe pear. Shadows pool violet beneath the eaves. Nothing moves except the water, and even that barely. A reading nook or narrow hallway gains an older, slower Bucharest here.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes. It ships fully framed and assembled, with the hanging hardware already fitted to the back.

Wipe the front gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Each piece is made to order and shipped free with tracking, usually within a couple of weeks depending on your location. See our shipping policy for details.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
