Castle

A stone fortress crouches on a ridgeline, its towers dark against pale mountain air. Castle belongs to the Himalayan visions of Nicholas Roerich, where architecture and peak seem carved from the same rock. Tempera tones of slate, oxblood and cold blue wash over the masonry. Banners hang motionless. Below, slopes fall away in hard planes of shadow and snow, and the citadel windows read as small black slits punched into the stone. Made for a study or library wall, where a quiet view of high places rewards long looking.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes. It arrives stretched over a solid wood frame, ready to hang, with the hanging hardware included.

Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Each piece is made to order and shipped free with tracking, usually within a couple of weeks depending on your location. See our shipping policy for details.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
