Bread on the Green

Round peasant loaves command the foreground in Bread on the Green, Pyotr Konchalovsky setting honest village baking against a broad emerald field that reads as open meadow. Crusts swell in burnt sienna and toasted amber, built from thick impasto ridges you can almost trace. Short directional strokes of grass tone and yellow ochre knit the ground together, while cool shadow pools beneath each loaf, modeling it with sculptural weight. Set it in a kitchen or a dining room and the whole space turns hearthside; a breakfast nook or pantry doorway suits it just as well.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.
