About this work

Blue and White Teapot

A blue and white teapot sits at the center of the table, its glazed surface catching light in cool bands of cobalt and cream. Samuel Peploe builds the still life around that single object. The body of the pot is rendered in broad, confident strokes, the painted pattern breaking into facets where the light turns. Shadows fall in slabs of slate and ultramarine rather than soft grey. White linen and a pale dish flank it, keeping the composition tight and architectural. The table edge cuts a firm horizontal across the lower third. Suited to a kitchen nook or breakfast room, anywhere morning light does the same work the brush already started.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.
