Blossoms and Wallflowers

Clusters of pale blossoms and sprays of wallflowers fill the frame in this floral study by Guy Rose. The arrangement feels gathered from a garden, not staged. Rose paints in soft layers of oil, petals rendered in cream, blush pink, and muted rose against deep green foliage. The wallflowers carry a dusty yellow orange glow, their stems loosely brushed. Light falls evenly across the blooms. Suited to a sunroom, bedroom corner, or reading nook where a garden mood belongs.
