Birch Trees by the Fence

White birch trunks lean over a rustic rail fence in this Russian landscape by Pyotr Konchalovsky, pale bark scored with the black scars and lenticel dashes of an old country grove. Broad, loaded strokes of oil paint build the scene: cool grey stems against fresh green foliage, a run of silvered timber slanting through the foreground, sunlight dropping past the canopy in yellow flecks across the grass. Each bole carries its own map of dark marks and peeled patches. It suits a stair landing or a study, anywhere the cool shade of high summer and the patience of weathered wood can slow a morning down.

Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
