Banner of Peace

Three circles sit within a ring, drawn in a single unbroken line against deep ground. This is the Banner of Peace, the emblem Nicholas Roerich designed for the pact that protected cultural treasures in wartime. The sign reads plainly at a distance: three solid orbs, one above two, enclosed in a circle, all rendered in pale ivory that seems almost chalk against dark surroundings. The line weight stays even throughout, deliberate and architectural rather than decorative. Hang it where its geometry holds a quiet authority: a hallway, an office, a library wall.
