Green banks slope toward quiet water in Bank Landscape by Cuno Amiet. Grass crowds the foreground in layered strokes of emerald and sap green, while the stream carries sky light along its curve. The brushwork stays loose and breathing: ochre dapples the meadow edge, a few dark trunks anchor the middle distance, and thin whites flicker where sun touches the current.
