The last ray crosses a village lane at Ligachevo, brushing rooftops and tree crowns before the August light lets go. Konstantin Yuon caught that exact hour in August Evening. Last Ray. Ligachevo, when daylight thins and every surface turns gold. Warm ochre washes over the rooftops while shadows pool violet beneath the trees. The sky holds a luminous depth, pale at the horizon and deepening upward, and the whole composition leans into that slow evening tilt of light. Brushwork stays loose and airy across the foliage, firmer where the houses catch the sun. A quiet, sun-warmed presence for a living room, hallway, or dining space that wants the long light of a summer evening on its walls.
