Asztali Csendélet

A dark wine bottle leans at the center of a table crowded with fruit, its glass shoulder catching a cool window light. Hungarian painter Vaszary János builds this 1926 still life from quick, loaded brushstrokes that keep every surface alive. Peaches glow amber against deep shadow, a knife rests idle across the cloth, and the background dissolves into warm umber and olive.
