A single plant stem climbs the frame, its buds arranged with the precision of a drawing done in silverpoint. Karl Blossfeldt photographed wild flora against flat paper backdrops, and here the habit of the stem takes over: each node spaced at even intervals, each bud curling at the same angle, the whole thing reading more like architecture than botany. The tonal range runs from charcoal shadow at the base to pale grey at the tip, with every hair and ridge of the stem held in focus. It suits a study, a hallway, or any wall that could use a quiet dose of structure.
