Seed pods, curling tendrils, and ribbed stems fill the frame in Art Forms in Nature 8, a plant portrait enlarged by Karl Blossfeldt until botanical anatomy reads as sculpture. Deep charcoal shadows press against silver-grey highlights, every hair on the stem rendered sharp.
