A Euphorbia myrsinites stem arcs across the plate, its grey leaves stacked like roof tiles along a curling spine. Karl Blossfeldt photographed this succulent flat against the paper, so every scale and shadow registers with botanical exactness. The tonal range runs from deep charcoal to a pale silver grey, and the plant reads almost as sculpture, a spiral built by growth alone. Dense foliage and hard geometry give it real presence in a study, a reading nook, or beside a desk where detail rewards a long look.
