Around the Campidoglio

Rome opens at the Campidoglio, seen from street level as figures and carriages move across the sunlit piazza. Fujishima Takeji paints the hill with a western plein air touch, warm stone against a pale Italian sky. Long shadows rake the cobbled square. Umbrellas dot the foreground, tiny against the architecture, and the Michelangelo facades rise in honeyed ochre and grey. Light sits on the cornices. This view suits a study or hallway with pale walls and old books.

Frequently asked

Yes. It arrives stretched over a solid wood frame, ready to hang, with the hanging hardware included.

Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Each piece is made to order and shipped free with tracking, usually within a couple of weeks depending on your location. See our shipping policy for details.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
