Arm of Eve

One arm rises through the sheet, the hand of Eve caught mid-gesture in Albrecht Durers engraved line. The forearm turns gently, fingers relaxed, the wrist rendered with the anatomical care Durer brought to his Adam and Eve studies. Hatching builds the soft volume of the flesh, each parallel stroke following the curve of muscle and tendon. The contour darkens where shadow pools beneath the hand, then thins to a whisper of line along the lit edge. Nothing is wasted; every mark describes form. A study of this kind suits a hallway or a quiet reading corner, where its fine linework rewards a close look and its restrained monochrome keeps the surrounding wall calm.
