Arch

An arch rises from a low base in one clean continuous band, the whole form narrowed to a single sweeping curve. Constantin Brâncuși reduced architecture to its barest gesture here, and the reduction holds. The surface reads as polished bronze, its warm sheen catching light along the outer edge of the curve while the inner face deepens to near shadow. Every contour is deliberate: the slight asymmetry, the way the arc widens where it meets the ground, the quiet tension between weight and lift. Nothing decorative remains, yet the shape feels alive, closer to a calligraphic stroke than to any gateway. It suits a minimal study, a hallway with pale walls, or a reading corner where one strong silhouette can carry the room.
