Ancient town

A stone town climbs out of bare earth, pale walls and dark towers set against a sky that holds no clouds at all. Konstantin Bogaevsky names the subject plainly: Ancient town. The architecture reads like geology. Rooftops, battlements and slender spires harden into ridgelines, drawn with fine hatching in olive, dusty rose and chalk white. Shadows pool in the streets below. The whole scene feels carved rather than built, every wall weathered by heat and wind. It suits a study or a hallway with low light, where the mineral greys and warm stone hues stay calm on the wall and reward long, slow looking.
