Ancient Land

Ruins crowd the horizon. Bogaevsky fills Ancient land with weathered towers, arched gateways and crumbling colonnades, all rendered in dusty rose, burnt sienna and a sky of pale smoke blue. Look closely and the ground itself seems geological: layered rock strata, deep ravines cut by shadow, plateaus balancing like stacked stone. The palette stays earthen throughout, ochre ground into violet haze, and every silhouette carries the weight of something long abandoned yet still upright. Hang it where quiet drama belongs, a study lined with books, a hallway that needs a horizon, or above a reading chair that faces the evening light.
