Olive slopes roll toward the sea in this Alpes Maritimes landscape by Michel Simonidy. Terraced hillsides climb in warm ochre and dry green, their ridgelines softened by coastal haze. The paint sits in short, directional strokes: sunlight breaks across a stone village roofline, cypress shadows fall violet against dusty paths, and the water beyond holds a pale band of cerulean where sky meets horizon.
