A farmhouse settles beside still water as the last light goes amber. Daniel Sherrin built this evening landscape around that quiet hour, when the fields cool and the sky keeps burning above the rooftrees. Warm ochre and burnished gold wash across the clouds, and their color doubles in the river below. Dark trees anchor one bank, the homestead clusters at the other, its windows and whitewashed walls catching the final glow. Brushwork stays soft and blended, the way English pastoral painters handled dusk. Suited to a study, a hallway, or above a reading chair where evening moods belong.
