A Moonlit Landscape

Moonrise floods open fields with cold light in A Moonlit Landscape, a nocturne by Pyotr Konchalovsky where darkness never quite wins and the night keeps its own weather. Thick oil paint carries everything. Impasto ridges catch a white halo around the moon, indigo cloud drifts thin across the sky, and a low stretch of water holds one long reflection. Tree masses stand nearly black against the glow, edges softened by a loaded brush. Bedrooms and quiet studies suit it best; hang it where lamplight is low and the silver blues deepen after dark, above a headboard or reading chair.

Frequently asked

Yes. It ships fully framed and assembled, with the hanging hardware already fitted to the back.

Wipe the front gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
