Moonlight lies across the water in Місячна ніч над морем, a nocturne by Trush Ivan Ivanovych. The sea holds a single column of reflected light, breaking into silver flecks as it nears the foreground. Dark water dominates the lower register, painted in deep blue-green tones that shift toward violet where the moon path widens. The sky above carries soft grey cloud banks, and the horizon sits low, letting the luminous band of moonlight claim the middle distance. Any shoreline, mast, or headland remains swallowed in shadow, so the eye stays fixed on that one glowing track across the waves.
