About this work

Port at Dieppe

Moored fishing boats crowd the harbor basin in Port at Dieppe, Gustave Loiseau painting the Norman port under a rinsed Channel sky, masts and rigging cut into pale light. The oil surface breaks into crosshatched strokes, slate water flecked with oyster and celadon, rust-colored hulls doubled in the swell. Along the quay, bollards, coiled rope and wheeling gulls anchor the foreground while a church spire threads the skyline. A harbor scene like this suits a stairway landing or study, bringing salt air and working-boat clutter to rooms that need a window onto open water.

Frequently asked

Yes — it arrives stretched over a solid wood frame and ready to hang, with hanging hardware included.

Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Each piece is made to order and shipped free with tracking, usually within a couple of weeks depending on your location. See our shipping policy for details.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
