Cliffs at Fecamp

Chalk cliffs stack along the Alabaster Coast, their pale faces cut by gullies and streaked with grey weathering. Gustave Loiseau paints Cliffs at Fecamp with quick, Broken-brush strokes that let the stone shimmer against a cold Channel sky. Below, the tide works in short grey-green waves while grass and gorse cling to the clifftop turf.
